Learning Kathak dance is like a magical journey through time, especially for kids. It’s an ancient Indian dance form that’s all about telling stories through graceful movements, hand gestures, and footwork. Imagine dancing to beautiful songs and expressing feelings with your hands and face. Kathak is like an exciting adventure where you get to play different characters and bring stories to life. So, if you love stories, music, and dancing, Kathak is a fantastic world waiting for you to explore!
Discover the fundamentals of Kathak dance in a welcoming and supportive environment. This eight-week series introduces key techniques such as basic movements, footworks, spins and storytelling techniques helping students build confidence, coordination and creative expression. The session will culminate with an informal in-studio showing for parents/family.

Parent Partners

We plan to launch a ‘Parent Partners’ volunteer group this year, which cultivates a collection of parents who wish to donate their time and talents to support KDT School activities throughout the year. Volunteers may help with costume orders, assisting with outreach performances, organization food and snacks for recital weekend, and more. We’re so thankful for every volunteer!
